2025: Second-Team All-ACC (discus)… competed in six outdoor meets for Cal… placed fifth in the discus at the ACC Outdoor Championships with a mark of 52.85m (173-5) and also scored in the javelin with an eighth-place 59.86m (196-5)… won the javelin contest at The 130th Big Meet with a mark of 59.65m (195-8)… threw the javelin 64.17m (210-6), 10th-farthest in Cal history, and the discus 52.81m (173-3) at the Mt. SAC Relays… posted a javelin mark of 63.55m (208-6) at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational… All-ACC Academic... ACC Academic Honor Roll.

2024: Competed in four outdoor meets for Cal… threw the discus a personal-best 53.58m (175-9) at the 129th Big Meet… threw the javelin 60.90m (199-10) at the Hornet Invitational… in his javelin debut, posted a winning mark of 60.14m (197-4) at the Cal Opener.

2023: Appeared in four outdoor meets… posted a discus mark of 48.42m (158-10) at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational… at the Stanford Invitational, threw the discus 48.68m (159-8)… launched the discus 48.42m (158-10) at the Cardinal Classic.

2022: Competed in four outdoor meets for Cal… reached a mark of 45.45m (149-1) in the discus throw at the Big Meet… set a personal-best discus throw of 46.05m (151-1) at the Stanford Invitational.

HIGH SCHOOL: Won the Raider Award in his senior year, Silver Creek High School’s top honor… also won Junior of the Year and Sophomore of the Year… team MVP… took first place in the discus throw at the 2021 Central Coast Section (CCS) Finals… also placed third in the shot put… that year, he posted the second-best discus throw in the state at 193-8.5… in 2019, placed ninth in the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) State Track & Field Championships discus finals… also competed in the shot put at the 2019 CIF CCS Semi-Finals after taking third place in the Blossom Valley Athletic League (BVAL) Finals… competed in the discus throw at the 2018 BVAL Finals… in addition to track & field, also wrestled and played football.

PERSONAL: Majored in pyschology… son of Trying Dang and Nhung Tran.
