- Hitless in six at bats over five games and one start during the 2025 campaign, also seeing action at catcher in the ninth inning of the Feb. 14 season opener against Nevada, as a pinch-hitter Feb. 28 against Santa Clara, playing the final two innings at catcher and also getting one at bat April 5 against Clemson, and going 0-for-2 at San Jose State while seeing two innings of action behind the dish

- Has two cousins, Roy Button (Class of 2011) and Olivia Button (Class of 2015) who attended Cal
- Is pursuing enrollment into the Haas School of Business and intends to major in economics
