- Picked up his first collegiate hit in the Connecticut series finale the following day on Feb. 25 in a 5-4 win that swept the series, leading off the bottom of the ninth with a pinch-hit single before being pinch-run for by Jack Johnston who came around with the game-winning run on a walk-off one-out RBI single by Rodney Green Jr.
- Started a winning two-run rally with a single to lead off the bottom of the seventh in an eventual 4-1 win over UCLA on Mar. 9
