Honors:
- 2024 Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll
As a Junior (2025): Did not appear in any races.
As a Sophomore (2024):
- Rowed in the 4V8+ that defeated UCLA and Orange Coast College at the California Challenge Cup.
- Rowed in the 5V8+ that defeated the Oregon State and Wisconsin 3V8+ at the Pac-12 Challenge.
- Rowed in the V4+ in the dual against Washington.
As a Freshman (2023):
- Rowed in the freshman 8+ that won the Derek Guelker Memorial Cup and placed second in the Anderson Borthwick Memorial Trophy final at the San Diego Crew Classic.
- Rowed in the 5V8+ that defeated the Orange Coast College 2V8+ and the Santa Clara 2V8+ and 3V8+ at the Ebright Invitational.
High School/Club: Competed for the Pacific Rowing Club…took 1
st place at the Peninsula Indoor in 2019…holds the 5
th fastest 2K time in club history
Personal: Parents are Candice Besler and Warren Bottomley…brother Curtis Bottomley (Jr.) is also on the rowing team…his grandfather Randall Beisler played on the offensive line for the Eagles, Chiefs and 49ers…has a dog named Boudin…hobbies include surfing, skiing and biking
