Yoon made a significant impact on the Golden Bears as a true freshman in 2012-13 when he played in five events (all in the spring) including the Pac-12 Championship and has also played in five events in the spring of 2014 after not playing either season in the fall. Yoon had a top finish of tied for seventh at the 2013 Western Intercollegiate to conclude the regular season.
