Palleschi spent one season with Cal football in 2015 before leaving the program following the campaign. Palleschi was a two-way standout who was a second-team All-State selection as a 2014 senior and an honorable mention choice during his 2013 junior campaign. He was also an All-Big Island II League selection three times with first-team honors each of his final two seasons as a junior and 2014 senior after a second-team selection as a 2012 sophomore. Palleschi hauled in 26 receptions for 492 yards receiving and six touchdown catches on offense as a junior, while he contributed 24 tackles, 9.0 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries, four pass breakups, one interception and one score on the defensive side of the ball the same campaign.
