Weaver has made history during his first four-plus seasons at Cal. During the 2012-13 campaign, he became the first Cal men’s golfer to ever play at the Masters while currently a member of the Golden Bears. He also played in the U.S. Open, Palmer Cup and Walker Cup in 2013 to become only the second golfer in the history of the sport to play in each of the four events in the same calendar year. In addition, Weaver was a first-team All-American and All-America Scholar in 2012-13, while winning his first collegiate event by sharing individual medalist honors at the NCAA Pullman Regional and adding a second-place finish at the Pac-12 Championship. Weaver is on track to earn his bachelor’s degree from Cal’s Haas School of Business in May of 2014.
