• Earned third-team All-State honors from The Old Coach and Dave Campbell Texas Football as well as District 14-6A Defensive MVP recognition and a second-team All-Central Texas selection from the Austin American-Statesman when he was a team captain and led his 2015 senior squad with 8.0 sacks and -40 sack yards, while ranking second with 10.0 tackles for loss and third with 65 tackles in addition to two forced fumbles, one pass deflection and six quarterback hurries for a team that was 15-1 overall with its lone loss in the Conference 6A Division 2 state finals to Katy, who finished as the top team in MaxPreps Xcellent 25 ranking, and recording an 8-0 mark in 6A Region II District 14 action to win a district title
• Senior team finished ninth in the final MaxPreps Xcellent 25 as well as 15th nationally and second in the state of Texas
• Contributed 36 tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss, 5.0 sacks (-24 yards), three pass deflections and one quarterback hurry as a 2014 junior for a team that finished 10-2 overall and 8-0 in 6A Region II District 14 action to win a district title while reaching the second round of the Conference 6A Division 2 playoffs

• Single-game career bests included 3.0 sacks as a sophomore against Bowie, two forced fumbles against Westlake, three quarterback hurries vs. Midway and seven tackles twice during his senior season, while he had 2.0 tackles for loss on six occasions, one pass deflected five times, and -10 sack yards on four occasions throughout his career including the final time when he capped a string of at least one sack in five consecutive games as a senior with 2.0 sacks and -10 sack yards against Westfield
• Also threw the shot put for two seasons during his 2014 sophomore and 2015 junior campaigns while playing lacrosse for one season as a freshman in the spring of 2013
