• Played both ways on the offensive and defensive lines in his final two campaigns as a 2016 junior and 2017 senior, earning first-team All-Sierra Foothill League honors as an offensive lineman both seasons
• Named first-team All-State by USA Today, the top offensive lineman in the CIF Division II Sac-Joaquin Section by MaxPreps and the Sacramento Valley Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame, and earned All-San Joaquin Section by Max Preps as a senior
• Was also the Sierra Foothill League Lineman of the Year, earned first-team All-SFL honors on the offensive line and was a team captain for a senior squad that finished 12-3 overall, won the CIF Division II Sac-Joaquin Section title, was the NorCal runner-up and finished as California’s No. 31 ranked team according to MaxPreps
• A four-year varsity starter on the defensive line who was named his team’s Most Valuable Defensive Lineman in each of his first three prep campaigns
• Earned All-Underclassman honors on defense from Battle Prep West as a sophomore for a team finished 7-6 overall and reached the semifinals of the CIF Division II Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs
• Wore No. 74 as a junior and senior in football after wearing No. 50 as a sophomore
• Also played basketball and participated in track and field throwing the shot put and discus
• Was named Team MVP in basketball as a 2015-16 sophomore
