• Played a key role on an offense that committed a then-school-record low 13 turnovers in 13 games, two less than the previous school record of 15 miscues in 2016 that were the fewest in school history with Cal committing only nine turnovers in its final 12 contests after a season-high four in the opener against UC Davis including five games in which the Golden Bears did not turn the ball over a single time including back-to-back wins at Washington and against North Texas, as well as a loss at Utah, a victory at Stanford and a win over Illinois in the Redbox Bowl
• On the field to help Cal put together game-winning drives on its final possessions both at Washington and Stanford
• Helped the Cal offense average 30.0 points and 414.3 total yards per game over its last four wins while scoring a season-high 35 points in its final contest in a Redbox Bowl victory over Illinois

• Sophomore squad reached the finals of the Conference 6A D1 state playoffs before losing its only game of the season to finish 15-1 while his senior team was 9-4 overall and made it to the Region 2 semifinals of the Conference 6A D1 playoffs while he earned second-team All-District 12-6A recognition
• Played his 2017 junior season at St. Pius X where his squad was 10-3 overall and 3-0 in TAPPS Division I District 3 competition before reaching the championship game of the TAPPS D1 playoffs while he earned second-team All-District recognition
• Was on the All-District academic team as a senior
• Wore No. 64 in football at The Woodlands and No. 77 at St. Pius X
• Also participated in track and field and won a TAPPS bronze medal in the shot put while also picking up a spot on the state’s All-Academic team as a 2017 sophomore at The Woodlands
