Cal Will Be Facing Off Against San Diego State To Open The Tournament
The California Golden Bears are back in the Bay Area this weekend, as they will be participating in the Santa Clara Mission Classic.
This past week saw Cal take on both Loyola Chicago and Stephen F. Austin at the SFA Tournament before heading to Columbia, South Carolina, for their Showdown at the Net matchup with the South Carolina Gamecocks. Despite being away from home for nearly a week, the Golden Bears were able to return home with a 3-0 record, pushing their overall record to 5-1 on the season.
The team's strong start to the season marks its best since the 2023 season when they opened the year 6-0.
As for the Santa Clara Mission Classic, Cal will be playing both San Diego State (Saturday) and host Santa Clara (Sunday).
