Cal Sweeps Loyola Chicago To Open SFA Tournament

Thursday marked the first time of the young season that the California Golden Bears volleyball team played a road game outside of the Golden State.
The Bears took a trip to Nacogdoches, Texas for the SFA Tournament, with their first match against Loyola Marymount. Coming off a disappointing loss to Saint Mary's this past weekend, the Bears seemed to be back in business as they swiftly dismantled the Ramblers.
Cal ended up pulling off its second clean sweep of the season, winning 25-21, 25-16 and 25-14.

WHAT'S NEXT?
Cal will be facing off against the host team, Stephen F. Austin on Saturday. First serve is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. PT, and will be streaming on ESPN+.
