• Posted 13 kills against Fairfield (Aug. 26)
• Joined the Bears in Spring 2023

Prior to Cal: Competed for Walnut High School in 2022 and La Salle High School from 2019-21, as well as the T-Street Inland Empire club team… 2022 Varsity Walnut Summer League champion… in 2021, was named to the Division 2 All-California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Southern Section Team, the All-Del Rey League First Team and the Crescenta Valley Falcon All-Tournament Team, as well as earning Varsity Offensive Player of the Year honors from La Salle… that year, the team won the Del Rey League Championship, the Crescenta Valley Falcon Tournament and the Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy (FSHA) Summer Classic… La Salle won the 2019 Crescenta Valley Falcon Tournament and the FHSA Summer Classic… four-year honor roll student.
 
Personal: Majoring in media studies… daughter of Hua Li and Cynthia Yao… father Hua was on the Shanghai men’s volleyball team and the Chinese National Beach Volleyball Team… mother Cynthia played for the Shanghai women’s volleyball team and the FuDan University women’s volleyball team.
