The best part about being on Cal crew is: Being around top-notch people who help you push yourself further than you thought you could go in many aspects of your life.
The best part of the University is: The expectation of excellence at every turn.
My greatest achievement was: When I graduated from high school knowing institutions that I set in place would continue to help people even after I was gone.
I chose Cal because: Of those expectations for excellence. The atmosphere allows for competition with others as well as pushes you to compete for your very best. The outstanding professors, coaches, teammates and students at Cal round out the perfect college experience for me.
What sets Cal apart: The balance of amazing programs and people in every department of the University sets Cal ahead and makes it stand out from other schools. From Nobel and Pulitzer Prize-winning faculty members to leading student minds to 11 national championships in one year, Cal continues to strive for more, and that is what makes this school my first choice.
