The best part about being on Cal crew is: The amazing team. I love crew, and I get to work out with some of the most inspiring and dedicated people on campus.
The best part of the University is: That we have so many opportunities to join amazing clubs, classes and organizations on campus.
My great achievement/finest moment was: When our team won the NCAA championship for the second time. I had worked through a very rough season, and there were points that I didn't think I was a good rower. But through perseverance, I made the JV 8+ and realized what all the tears and sweat were for when we won the championship.
I chose Cal because: It is historically always on the cutting edge of new thinking.
What sets Cal apart: The University offers a perfect balance of academics and sports. Both are top tier, and Berkeley allows one to pursue your sport competitively and your education.
