Personal: Undeclared major; possibly pre-med...parents are Susan and Keith Bostian...born on May 1, 1989, in Summit, N.J.
The best part about being on Cal crew is: The team. The girls have such great work ethic. There is also no power heirarchy, everyone cheers on everyone else. The team is extremely determined and goal oriented. There is always a great enthusiam and drive present at practice that makes every workout hard but fun.
The best part of the University is: The interesting people I have encountered. Its interesting how many people can fit up in those trees. In one of my classes we take time for "centering" or meditation. I've met people from all over the world. I think the best part of my experience at Cal is that I am constantly learning, inside and outside the classroom.
My greatest achievement/finest moment was: My first super-saturday after my first week at Cal. It was a really long, strenuous practice after a long, strenuous week, but it felt really rewarding to finish and to feel so accomplished.
I chose Cal because: Cal is a place I can grow as a person both athletically and mentally.
What sets Cal apart: Attitude.
