Viramontes threw for 2,085 yards and 21 touchdowns while also rushing for 1,112 yards and 17 scores as a 2015 senior for a squad that finished 8-3 overall and reached the first round of the Southern Section Pac 5 Division playoffs after throwing for 1,784 yards and 18 scores while rushing for 1,757 and 18 touchdowns to lead his squad to the second round of the playoffs as a 2014 junior. The versatile athlete was recruited to Cal as a quarterback and rated as high as nation’s No. 15 dual-threat quarterback according to Rivals as well as the No. 252 player in the nation overall by 247Sports.
