What They Are Saying
• Sonny Dykes
“Drew has been a very productive player and probably the top wide receiver in Hawaii. He has made a lot of plays through the years and is going to continue to develop. He has good size and speed.”
• Jacob Peeler
“Drew Kobayashi is not only a guy that is big physically but also has a lot of speed to back it up. He’s a guy that caught a lot of balls in his career and has some skill sets that we’re excited about. With the receivers that have left he’ll have an opportunity to compete early for playing time.”
• ESPN
“Kobayashi is of solid size for a young receiver. His height is good and as he matures he will most likely fill out some more. Plays with an ability to utilize his body presence well but also displays solid speed as he wins deep a lot … Kobayashi is a solid receiver that will excite a Power 5 school, he just may not excite them all. Will most likely have a consistent productive career in front of him.”
