Cal football coach Tom Holmoe announced today that he has hired Bill Dutton as Cal's new defensive line coach. Dutton replaces Mike Waufle who accepted the same position with the Oakland Raiders on Wednesday.

Dutton, 67, has over 40 years of experience coaching defensive linemen on the college and pro levels and has established a reputation as one of the finest technicians and teachers in the game.
