HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB SUCCESS
• Took third place on the one-meter springboard in the 2009 CIF-SS Division 3 Swimming and Diving Championships.
• Also dives for Mission Viejo Nadadores with fellow Cal freshman Kahley Rowell.

PERSONAL
• Undeclared major.
• Her father, Thomas Kardos, attended Cal as both an undergraduate and graduate student.
• Competed in gymnastics for 10 years; quit the sport 2008.
• Inspired to dive in part by watching the 2008 Summer Olympics.
• Worked as a lifeguard the previous two summers.
