Jared Goff completed 26 passes for 206 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions to help lead Detroit to a 31-30 overtime win over New Orleans, while Aaron Rodgers opened Pittsburgh's season with a 20-13 victory over Atlanta to highlight performances by California football alumni in the opening week of the 2026 NFL season.
Cornerback Nohl Williams contributed to the defense in the Kansas City Chiefs' 31-10 win over the Denver Broncos with a sack and a big-time pass breakup to open up his sophomore season in the league.
Safety Camryn Bynum made an immediate impact in his Indianapolis debut with seven tackles against Baltimore.
