Final Stats

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - The California field hockey team improved to 7-6 on the season when it defeated Fairfield on penalty strokes Saturday afternoon. The match was suspended yesterday due to darkness and resumed this afternoon at Providence, the site of the Golden Bears' match tomorrow against the Friars. After overtime concluded deadlocked at two, Cal emerged victorious in penalty strokes. More information on this match will follow later. The Bears face Providence tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. PT.
