Tim McLaughlin is in his second year at Cal Athletics. He currently leads development efforts for the east coast as a part of the Cal Athletics Fund.
McLaughlin has worked in college athletics since 2008 as a Development Officer, as well as a Manager and Assistant Coach at three different Division III institutions (Wentworth Institute of Technology, Wesleyan University, and University of Rochester).
From 2016-2022, McLaughlin worked in development at the University of Pennsylvania where he served as Assistant AD, Director of Development, overseeing the major gifts team during the Game Onward Campaign where Penn Athletics raised $241M towards a $150M goal.
McLaughlin earned his bachelor’s degree from Boston College in 2011 and originally hails from East Marion, NY. He and his wife Francesca reside in Indianapolis, IN.
