- Threw 27.2 innings and started against Texas Tech, Gonzaga, Minnesota, Stanford, Saint Mary's and San Francisco.
- First collegiate win came on March 5 vs. Gonzaga when he worked 5.1 innings and allowed two runs in a 9-5 victory.
- Won his second game in his next start, a five-inning outing against Minnesota on March 14. Struck out a career-high six and allowed just one run in a 7-1 win.
