NEW YORK CITY - The 2013 NFL Draft will be conducted at Radio City Music Hall in New York City this Thursday-Sunday, April 25-27. ESPN and NFL Network will televise the event live with online streaming also available at NFL.com.
The first round is scheduled to begin Thursday at 5 p.m. PDT, while Friday will feature the second and third rounds starting at 3:30 p.m. Rounds four through seven are slated for Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. PDT.
Fiver former Cal players - WR Keenan Allen, RB C.J. Anderson, CB Marc Anthony, OL Brian Schwenke and CB Steve Williams - were among the top 2013 NFL Draft prospects that attended the NFL Combine in February.
Other former Cal players who completed their collegiate eligibility in 2012 and are eligible for the 2013 NFL Draft that have attended local pro days hosted by Cal and/or the San Francisco 49ers include RB Covaughn DeBoskie-Johnson (played senior year at Northern Arizona), DB Tyré Ellison, DB Josh Hill, FB Kameron Krebs, RB Mike Manuel, QB Zach Maynard, LB Robert Mullins, DL Kendrick Payne, RB Isi Sofele, FB Eric Stevens, OL Matt Summers-Gavin and DL Aaron Tipoti.
In addition to draft selections, many players who are not drafted typically join NFL rosters shortly after the NFL Draft by signing undrafted free agent contracts.
