Game Time Against Virginia Tech Announced

Cal’s Homecoming Celebration To Be Played At 12:30 p.m.
California football will host Virginia Tech at 12:30 p.m. PT on October 10, announced by the Atlantic Coast Conference office Monday morning. The game will be aired live on either ESPN2 or ACC Network, with the network designation to be finalized after the Week 5 games.
The Golden Bears (2-2, 1-1 ACC) will host James Franklin's Hokies (4-0, 1-0 ACC) at Databricks Field at California Memorial Stadium for the very first time. It will be the third all-time meeting between the two teams, with Virginia Tech having captured the most recent win with a dramatic double-overtime 42-34 tilt in Blacksburg, Virginia last season. Cal won its first contest against the Hokies, 52-49, at the 2003 Insight Bowl.
Cal will celebrate its annual Homecoming / Alumni & Parents Weekend when the Hokies visit Berkeley. Tickets for the game are available for purchase here.
