Cal To Begin Season At Bettie Lou Evans Invitational

Tournament Features 2 Teams In Preseason Top 25
The California women's golf team will kick-start the 2026-27 campaign at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational in Lexington, Kentucky. The two-day tournament will tee off at 5:30 a.m. PT on Monday and will close out on Tuesday.
The Golden Bears' top two players return for their senior seasons following a thrilling junior year. One major highlight from last season was Cal's win at the St. Andrews Links Collegiate in Scotland. Constance Fouillet set the women's record on the Old Course when she posted a 9-under-par 63 to lead the Bears to a 4.5-1.5 victory over Princeton in the match-play championship. Fouillet competed in nine events and 26 rounds, recording a season average of 72.64 and a season average of 73.90. Jasmine Kahler had five top-10 finishes last season, including a tie for eighth place at the ACC Championships with a five-under par 211. Kahler finished her junior season second on the team with 10 rounds of par or better.
Cal also brings in three newcomers, two of whom — freshmen Giselle Zhao and Zoe Jiamanukookit — will be in next week's lineup.
The Bettie Lou Evans Invitational features two teams in Golfweek's preseason top-25 poll in No. 8 Auburn and No. 23 Tennessee.
This will be the Bears' first year opening the season at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational.

Format: 36-hole shotgun format Monday; 18-hole shotgun format Tuesday
