Sophomore Andrea Meduri enters the tournament undefeated in singles at 5-0 after competing at the Sherwood Collegiate Cup and the San Diego Veterans Tennis Classic. Junior Paris Pouatcha is enjoying a strong fall, entering with a 5-2 singles record that includes a win over a top-100 opponent. He will team up with Lenn Luemkemann in doubles after the pair won the consolation title at the Battle in the Bay Classic.

All of Cal's doubles teams were seeded, led by Timofey Stepanov and Alex Aney at No. 2. Luemkemann and Pouatcha are seeded third. In singles, five Golden Bears earned seeds, led by Stepanov at No. 2.

Last season, three Cal players qualified for the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships through the Northwest Regional. Fryderyk Lechno-Wasiutynski reached the singles final, while Tiago Silva and Stepanov won the doubles title.
