Johnson Named the Pac-12's Top Newcomer and the ITA's Regional Player to Watch

Fall 2012: Posted a 10-6 singles record...reached the singles quarterfinals of the Pacific Tigers Invitational...earned a 6-5 doubles record...reached the doubles semifinal round of the USTA/ITA Northwest Regional Champion with partner Mads Engsted and the quarterfinals of the Pacific Tigers Invitational with Chase Melton.

Personal/Previous: A transfer from Georgia with an overall record of 13-4 during his sophomore year and 19-8 overall record during his freshman career with the Bulldogs...was a member of Georgia's 2012 SEC tournament championship and 2011 SEC regular-season championship...parents are Julia and Dan Johnson...his siblings have also played collegiate tennis, with D.J. having played at Purdue, and Alex (a senior) and Jacob (a freshman) currently members of the UC Santa Barbara squad...undeclared major.
