Team Finals Results 
NORMAN, Okla. - The No. 8 California men's gymnastics team earned a fourth-place finish at NCAA Championships on Friday evening at Oklahoma's Lloyd Noble Center. The Golden Bears' 353.000 bested Stanford's 352.650 and Michigan's 351.050.
Illinois (358.850) won the NCAA title while Oklahoma (357.450) took silver and Penn State (354.800) bronze.
Multiple Bears advanced to the individual finals - Glen Ishino (pommel, high bar), Steven Lacombe (rings, vault), Dennis Mannhart (parallel bars, high bar) and Jonathan Liu (parallel bars). Those Bears will compete for NCAA titles on Saturday evening at 5 p.m. PT.
Ishino won pommel horse and finished fourth in the all-around. Mannhart was right behind him with a fifth-place finish in the all-around. Bailey took 10th.
Ishino led the Bears with a 15.000 on floor, followed by Dennis Mannhart and Donothan Bailey - both of whom notched 14.950s. Daniel Culpepper rounded out the contributors with a 14.800.
With a 15.850, Ishino won pommel horse. Bailey finished 11th, scoring a 15.000. Mannhart was 17th (14.700) and Matthew del Junco took 21st (14.450).
Steven Lacombe tallied a 15.400 for third place on rings. Bailey was next in line amongst the Bears, scoring a 14.400. Jean Monteclaro notched a 14.100 and Ishino a 14.000.
Lacombe paced the Bears on vault, as well, scoring a 15.400 for fifth. Bailey tied for 19th with a 14.750. Ishino tallied a 14.700 and Mannhart earned a 14.500.
On parallel bars, it was Mannhart who led the way, finishing fifth with a 15.100. Liu tied for eighth with a 15.000. Ishino netted a 13.900 and Michael del Junco a 13.800.
Ishino tied for fourth on still rings, scoring a 14.950 while Mannhart was eighth thanks to his 14.800. Nic Blair tied for 15th (14.350) and Jacob Jizrawi tied for 21st (14.250).
