Biography

2011: A regular for the Bears in all events...tied with teammate Glen Ishino for first place in the all-around against Stanford with a career-high 89.900 that was helped by season-highs of 15.400 on parallel bars, 15.100 on rings and 14.900 on high bar ...won the all-around against Iowa with a score of 86.500 while also notching a season high on vault with 15.700...had his best performances of the season on pommel horse (14.500) and floor (14.800) en route to a third place finish in the all-around (88.400) in a meet against Oklahoma.

2010: Became a regular in the Bears lineup by the end of the season as a true freshman, competing in the all-around in the Bears' last seven meets...finished second in the all-around against Ohio State behind teammate Glen Ishino with a career-high 88.200...had a season-best score of 15.900 on vault at the NCAA Qualifiers that tied him for tenth in the event...in the meet against Penn State, he set season-high scores and finished fourth in both pommel horse with a score of 14.550 and high bar with a score of 14.700.

Personal: Swiss national team star...finished 14th at the 2007 World Championships and seventh at the 2008 European Championships...in 2008, he was also third in the all-around, second on pommel horse and rings, third on vault, third on p-bars and sixth on floor...planning on majoring in mechanical engineering...parents are Hedy and Bruno Mannhart.
