Zac Bocian is in his fourth season at Cal and his first as Senior Director of Football Affairs in 2022 after being promoted to the position on Jan. 12, 2022. Bocian's responsibilities at Cal are related to player personnel, football processes, strategic planning, recruiting, and roster management, among others. Bocian, who spent his first three campaigns at Cal (2019-21) as the team's Director of Player Personnel, will be working his 20th season in either the NFL or collegiate ranks in 2022.
Bocian is a native of nearby Pleasanton, Calif, and graduated from Cal in 2003. He and his wife, Noelle, currently reside in San Francisco.

• Served as the Western Region Scout for the 2019 Reese's Senior Bowl prior to his arrival at Cal
• Worked with the NFL's Cleveland Browns for 15 seasons (2003-17) including the final 13 in player personnel.
• Originally joined the Browns in 2003 and ascended from an intern in the video department to National Scout – Western Region.
• Assisted in various scouting and coaching capacities throughout his tenure with the Browns.
• A tight end on the football team at Diablo Valley College before transferring to Berkeley.
• Worked with the Cal football program as a student video assistant as an undergraduate in Berkeley
