Tayler Perez

Tayler Perez is in her third year with Cal Athletics. Perez develops programming and partnerships for student-athletes to engage in meaningful campus and community-based social impact projects. She also provides 1:1 advising support to student-athletes, teams, and student-athlete led organizations

Prior to Cal, Perez served as the Youth & Community Engagement Manager for the Local Organizing Committee for the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon, the first World Athletics Championships hosted in the U.S. In this role, Perez led the youth and community engagement program, Making Tracks, to engage and raise awareness with youth groups nationwide. 

Perez has also served as a Student-Athlete Advisor at Lane Community College and a Program Associate of Scholarship Awards at the Ford Family Foundation. She started her career as a College and Career Specialist at a non-profit serving young adults in Eugene and Springfield, Oregon.
Perez is a Southern California native and a former student-athlete at Mount San Antonio College and California State University, San Bernardino, where she ran distance events on the Track and Field and Cross Country teams. Perez identifies as a first-generation college student and holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology.
