Ryan Rodriguez joined the Cameron Institute in March 2022. As a Senior Career Development Advisor, Rodriguez runs the Cal Student-Athlete Mentorship Program and works closely with 13 varsity teams. Hhe also provides career advising appointments and teaches a section of the Career Readiness Seminar for student-athletes.
Prior to his time at Cal, Rodriguez served as a career advisor at California State University, Maritime Academy, as well as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the Occidental College football team (his alma mater). He also served as a graduate assistant for the Texas A&M-Kingsville football team, where he received his masters in counseling. Outside of college athletics, Rodriguez has served as an assistant football coach and substitute teacher at Hoover High School in the Glendale Unified School District.
