Philippe Dupont enters his second season as assistant coach for the California men's soccer program after joining the staff in June of 2025.

In his first season, he led the program's set piece strategy, an area that has become a major strength for the Golden Bears. During the 2025 season, Cal finished fourth in the nation in set-piece goals. Additionally, he helped guide the Bears to the ACC tournament semifinal, the team finishing with a record of 8-8-2 and spending time nationally ranked in the United Soccer Coaches Poll.

Dupont plays a key role in national and international recruiting, while contributing to the team's tactical development and preparation. He oversees all opponent scouting and match preparation, providing detailed analysis and strategic insight to help the team prepare for each opponent.

A native of Montevideo, Uruguay, Dupont earned his bachelor's degree in business management from FIU. He has earned his USSF B Coaching License and will be pursuing his USSF A License.
