Josh Alley

Josh Alley is currently in his twenty-eighth year at Cal Athletics where he has served as Athletic Eligibility Director in the Office of the Faculty Athletics Representative since 2004. In this role, Alley monitors, reports, and certifies academic eligibility for all student-athletes, oversees all NCAA and Conference academic reporting including the APR and GSR, and facilitates academic awards and post-graduate scholarship selections.

Alley began in the Athletic Ticket Office in 1998 and later joined the IA Student-Services office from 1999 - 2004 as the NCAA CHAMPS Life Skills Coordinator. 

Born in San Francisco, but raised in Berkeley, Alley is a lifelong Cal fan. Growing up, he was a camper and later a counselor at Cal sports camps every summer and has witnessed "The Play" in person. His most memorable Cal sporting event was in 1986 when Cal Men's Basketball beat UCLA to end the 25 year, 52 game losing streak vs the Bruins. 
Alley attended UCSB for his undergraduate studies and USF for graduate school.
