Joseph Candeloro is in his second year with Cal Athletics as an Event Management Coordinate. In his role, coordinates the planning, setup, and execution of athletic events for the Golden Bears.
Prior to Cal, Candeloro served as the Assistant Manager of Events and Facilities for the Stony Brook University Seawolves from 2021 to 2023, where he oversaw events for multiple Division I sports programs. He began his career at the St. John’s University Red Storm as an Events and Facilities Student Worker from 2017 to 2021, working in event coordination, customer service, and venue logistics.
Candeloro also served as a Data Analyst for Pro Football Focus during the 2023–24 football season, contributing to the company’s advanced data collection and performance analytics efforts for NCAA and professional football.
Originally from Long Island, New York, Joseph graduated from St. John’s University in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and earned his Master of Business Administration from Stony Brook University in 2023.
