Emily Hicks is in her third year with Cal Athletics. Hicks serves in the Cal Athletics Fund, where she oversees all aspects of the stewardship process, including capital recognition, membership gifts, and the Honorific Scholarship program. She enjoys highlighting the meaningful impact donor support has on the department and student-athletes
Before joining Cal, Hicks served as a Graduate Assistant for the softball program at Saint Mary’s College of California while earning her master’s degree. This role provided valuable experience in collegiate athletics operations and student-athlete support, reinforcing her commitment to fostering positive donor and community engagement.
Hicks earned her bachelor’s degree at Sonoma State University. She originally hails from Walnut Creek and has deep family ties to UC Berkeley.
