Colin Dixon enters his first season as the Director of Player Development for Cal Baseball.
Dixon comes to Berkeley after spending 2024-25 as the Director of Baseball Analytics at Washington. He also comes in with some recent coaching experience having coached baseball at his alma mater, Foothill High School, in 2024 and the WCL's Cowlitz Black Bears this past summer. Dixon worked with the Black Bears' infielders and also coached third base.
Dixon is a multi-sport coaching talent having coached the Stephen F. Austin football team in 2023 and worked with both the baseball and football teams as a student manager while attending graduate school at Washington.
The Pleasanton native earned an Associate's degree from Diablo Valley City College, a Bachelor's degree from Clemson, and a Master's in athletic leadership from UW.
