Dr. Amy White Hockenbrock is a board-certified family medicine physician with a certificate of added qualification in primary care sports medicine.
Dr. Hockenbrock earned her bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cell Biology at UC Berkeley where she was captain of the Women’s Soccer team and led the team to multiple playoff berths from 1996 through 2000. She received her M.D. from Chicago Medical School and then returned to San Jose for residency and primary care sports medicine fellowship at O’Connor Hospital. She returned to Cal in 2000 and now serves as an Associate Team Physician, as well as Associate Medical Director.
Dr. Hockenbrock’s clinical interests include sports medicine, primary care with an emphasis on women's health, and LGBTQ care including care of the trans athlete. Dr. Hockenbrock also serves as a volunteer physician for USA Soccer.
