Biography

Spring 2018: Was 9-5 in singles in the spring to post a season record of 17-11 and went 9-3 in doubles in the spring to finish 17-8 in doubles…the pair of Glozman and Anna Bright earned a doubles ranking of No. 84 to end the season after posting a 12-5 record…the duo upset Stanford’s Caroline Lampl and Kimberley Yee (with the Cardinal pair then ranked 56th), 7-5, at court-two doubles on April 20…Glozman clinched Cal wins in back-to-back dual matches in March, as she topped Louise Ronaldson, 7-5, 7-5, at court-four singles in Cal’s 4-2 win over Colorado on March 16 and then beat Taylor Calton, 6-4, 6-1, on court four in a 7-0 rout of Utah that ended on March 18… in singles, was 9-5 overall in dual matches and was 7-1 in Pac-12 dual matches.

Fall 2017: Was 8-6 in singles and 8-4 in doubles in her first semester as a collegian…teamed with fellow freshman Anna Bright to go 7-2 in doubles…the first-year Bears won the top-flight title at the Saint Mary’s Fall Invitational, beating UC Santa Babara’s Elizaveta Volodko and Lise Sentenac in the final, 8-4, and fell in the top-flight final at the Cal Fall Invitational to 11th-ranked teammates Karla Popovic and Olivia Hauger, 8-5…in singles, Glozman won the Blue-flight consolation title at the Cal Fall Invitational and reached the quarterfinals at the Saint Mary’s Fall Invitational…competed in both singles and doubles at the ITA Northwest Regional Championships.

raduated from high school one year early to join the class of 2017...rated as having the fifth-best RPI of last year’s recruits by tennisrecruiting.net, which also ranked her ninth overall (and as high as sixth) in the class of 2017…tennisrecruiting.net also ranked Glozman as the top recruit out of the state of Washington and from the northwest…she represented the U.S. in Junior Fed Cup action in 2012 and 2016…won the USTA Juniors Sectionals Tournament for the pacific northwest five times....took fourth place in the girls 18s in the 2016 USTA Winter National Championships and fifth place in the girls 14s at the 2013 championships…in 2014, trained at the USTA National Training Center in Boca Raton, Florida...claimed the 2014 girls 16s Intersectionals Sportsmanship Award in Shreveport, Louisiana...born on Jan. 11, 2000…parents are Ping and Igor…sibling Valerie (10)…hopes to attend medical school and work in the field of sports medicine...competed in a variety of sports including tennis, soccer, volleyball and gymnastics.
