- Native of Danville, Calif. attended De La Salle High School in Concord, Calif.
- 2-year varsity captain at De La Salle won the North Coast Section championship in the 100 fly in 2018. Graduated high school as the Spartans' record-holder in the 50 free, 100 free and 100 fly.
- Earned the Jefferson Award for community service.
- Also swam for the Crow Canyon Sharks and coach Ethan Hall. Was named the Most Valuable Swimmer (boys) in both 2017 and 2018.
- Set Crow Canyon team records in the 50 and 100 free (LCM) and 100 fly (LCM/SCY). Was a U.S. Open qualifier in the 100 fly.
