CAL SUCCESS
At the 2011 NCAA Championships, the busy Jensen anchored all five Cal relays, including the winning 200-yard freestyle relay (pool-record 1:27.36), 200-yard medley relay (American- and NCAA-record 1:35.03) and 400-yard medley relay (school- and pool-record 3:28.53). Also anchored the second-place 800-free relay (6:58.71) and third-place 400-free relay (3:12.20).
Jensen shone individually at 2011 NCAAs as well, placing second in the 50 free (school-record 21.50) and eighth in the 100 free (48.32).
Won the 50 free (21.73), took second in the 100 free (48.34) and placed fourth in the 200 free (1:45.98) at 2011 Pac-10s.
Also at the 2011 conference meet, anchored the winning 200-medley relay (1:35.62), 400-medley relay (3:28.99) and 400-free relay (3:13.59) as well as the runner-up 200-free relay (1:28.78).
Won the 50-yard freestyle title at the 2010 NCAA Championships with a time of 22.04...in all, claimed six All-America honors, including in the 400-yard freestyle relay (2nd in 3:12.6), 800-free relay (2nd, 7:00.00), 100 free (3rd, PR 47.77), 200-free relay (3rd, 1:28.9) and 200-medley relay (4th, 1:37.64).
Swam in the 50 (2nd in 22.09), 100 (3rd, 48.42 ) and 200 (9th, 1:45.92) frees at the 2010 Pac-10 Championships, in which she also took part in four Cal relays: 200-free relay (2nd, 1:28.70), 400-free relay (2nd, 3:14.66), 800-free relay (3rd, 7:01.16) and 200-medley relay (3rd, 1:38.28).
At the 2009 NCAA Championships, won titles as part of the 800-yard freestyle (NCAA-, meet-, U.S. Open- and Cal-record time of 6:52.69) and 400-free relays (3:09.88); took second with the 200-free relay (school-record 1:26.48)...finished seventh in the 50-yard free (22.17), 13th in the 100 free (48:59; PR 48.26 in the heats) and 11th in the 200 free (PR 1:44.81).
Named the 2009 Pac-10 Newcomer of the Year.
At the 2009 Pac-10 Championships, took second in the 50 free (21.94; second fastest all time at Cal), fourth in the 200 free (1:45.47); anchored the second-place 200-medley and 200-free relays and fourth-place 400-medley relay.
Her top times at Cal in the 50 free (21.94), 100 free (48:26) and 200 free (1:44.81) rank second, seventh and six, respectively in school history.
Set the Spieker Aquatics Complex record (1:31.49) with Cal's 200-yard free relay that beat UCLA (1/31/09).
2008 U.S. OLYMPIC TRIALS
Competed in the 50 and 100 free in Omaha, Neb.
PERSONAL
Majoring in cell and developmental biology.
2008 National Merit Scholar in high school.
Lists sculpting and baking as her hobbies.
Won the 400 medley relay at 2005 summer nationals with her club team, Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics.
