WHAT THEY ARE SAYING
247Sports: He's a big-bodied prospect that has good hands and plays strong. Austin could project on either side of the ball in college and we expect this Inland Empire standout, provided his film checks out, to receive increased attention moving forward.
ESPN: There is a lot to like about Austin and if had better top end speed he would be one of the more coveted players on the west coast for 2013. Regardless, Austin possesses many positive traits and is extremely productive. He has great size, and is tall, thick and strong ... For a player of his stature he is very smooth, fluid and quick ... Austin has the measurables and receiving skills to develop into a go-to receiver in time. Good player with some BCS-caliber traits.
Rivals: Austin is a big wide receiver at 6'3 and 205 pounds, and he plays big. He's tough to bring down and can go up and get the ball. But there's a lot more to Austin than just his height. He runs good routes, has great hands, and can play in the slot or out wide.
Scout: Austin is a big-bodied receiver with great hands, great route-running skills and excellent body control. He does a good job adjusting to throws, whether it's going down to get it or going up the ladder. He's got good strength, and is tough to jam at the line of scrimmage and can make the tough catches in traffic.
