Although unheralded by some, he was the coveted by the Cal coaching staff because of his coverage abilities...has all the tools to contend for early playing time...also is an excellent return specialist...had six interceptions his senior season to go along with 59 tackles...also returned four kicks for touchdowns (2 punts and 2 kickoff returns)...has 4.4 speed and is regarded as a superb one-on-one coverage player...also a fine sprinter on Serra track team...chose Cal after considering Arizona State, Oregon, San Diego State and New Mexico...uncle is fellow Cal recruit Damien Marzett.
