Cal Wraps Up Competition at Bombs, Darts & Birds Collegiate

Freshman Alzas Finishes In Top 25
CHANDLER, AZ – The California men's golf team finished T12 at the Bombs, Darts & Birds Collegiate on Tuesday, ending the tournament just three shots behind 10th place. The Bears fired a 10-under-par 278 in the final round, led by freshman Callixte Alzas, who finished among the tournament's top 25 players (T23).
Junior Ziqin Zhou delivered a strong final round, carding a 3-under-par 69 with one eagle and six birdies. Sophomore Trevor Cox also finished strong, recording five birdies in the final round. Zhou and Cox finished tied for 34th overall.
Next up, the Bears travel to Sammamish, Washington, for the Sahalee Players Collegiate, set for next Saturday at Sahalee Country Club.
