CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The California lacrosse team wrapped up its road schedule Sunday with a 21-7 loss at No. 1 North Carolina.
The Golden Bears (6-9, 0-8 ACC) split their final road trip of the season after a nonconference victory at Charlotte on Friday.
UNC scored the game's first six goals, including two by Tar Heels leading scorer Chloe Humphrey.
Ashleigh Masterson broke the drought with a pair of first-quarter goals to give her 11 on the season, Cal's first freshman to reach double-digits in scoring this season.

Emily Moes scored two goals, both in the second quarter. North Carolina led 17-4 at halftime.

The Bears return home to California Memorial Stadium on Thursday to close out the regular season against rival and No. 9 Stanford. First draw is set for 4 p.m. PT.
