A six-time NCAA champion and one of the greatest women’s triple jumpers in United States history, Hudson competed for the Cal track and field team from 1986-90 … an eight-time All-American, winning three NCAA triple jump titles (1987, ‘88, ‘90) and the 1990 NCAA long jump … was also the NCAA indoor long jump and triple jump champion in 1990 … a two-time Pac-10 triple jump champion (‘87, ‘90), she set the school record in the long jump (22-1) and triple jump (46-0.75) …  voted Cal’s Pac-10 Athlete of the Decade for track and field (1986-96) … served as an assistant coach at Cal from 1993-94 … placed 10th for the United States in the inaugural triple-jump competition in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics … four-time USA Outdoor triple jump champion (1989, ’90, ’94 and ’95) … five-time USA Indoor triple jump champion (1990, ’93, ’94, ’95 and ’96) … worked as a sports writer for the Sacramento Bee (2000-02) … served as the SWA/Compliance Coordinator and assistant track and field coach at Cal State Los Angeles for many years.
