One of the greatest field hockey players ever to wear blue and gold … earned all-conference honors in 1979 and ’80 … was chosen to the all-region team in 1980 and ’81 … in 1980, led her team to second place in the AIAW National Championships … following her career, from 1981 to 1988, was a fixture on the United States National team … competed for the U.S. at the 1982 and ’85 World Cup and was a silver medalist at the 1987 Pan American Games … won a bronze medal with the U.S. at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles and capped her career off by again representing her country in the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, Korea.
