• Father, Tarik, was a four-year football letterwinner at Cal who earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors as a 1996 senior before being drafted in the first round of the 1997 NFL Draft by Indianapolis with the 19th pick overall and going on to play and start in 154 of 160 possible regular-season and all 14 postseason games over 10 seasons with the Colts primarily as the starting left tackle for Peyton Manning while earning three Pro Bowl nods and winning Super Bowl XLI in his final game in the NFL
